Day Three is something I'm proud of, yet not really. It was the gateway between The Angelic Year and Tidal Waves. I was halfway coming out of the abstract and going into proper song structure when I made this, and it has become a great blend of both.

'music for the lonely and needy' is the only track that I would've removed if I had given it more thought. The structure was slightly off, and the guitar was slowly grating on me until the sweet release of the keyboard.

I still go back to tracks like 'a little dream in static', 'olden and archaic', 'attempt at applying music theory i' and 'going fast for nostalgia'. These tracks are the bread and butter of Day Three, the best ideas-on-a-whim since Day One.

'grandiose culmination/monumental finale' is the opposite of grandeur. I think it closes out the EP really well after the intense 'going fast for nostalgia'.

Well, at least it's better than Day Two.
