Day Two is a special case for me. I admire and appreciate the track for its very strong precursor sound to what I would do later on, i.e. Tidal Waves and Volcanic Ashes.

But this is not a release that I will go back to listen to.

The title of the track alludes to a friend I had who we have never got on with until the third year. That's a story for The Angelic Year.

Other than that, the music had nothing to do with the title. What it is, is classic 'The Yevon Year' structure with drums. Day Two is less dissonant and more exciting in the climax section, so I can see the appeal it had.

There is nothing wrong with the track as a whole, but with so many nitpicks I've had with this track, the more it built up. Day Two comes in packed with the same old mistakes.

I respect Day Two as much as The Yevon Year for how I've developed as a musician.
